New Year's Eve Chilly Chili Run/Walk

When: Monday, December 31, 2012
Location: Marian University - Hornung Student Center, 45 S. National Ave., Fond du Lac, WI 2012 Results: 1/2 Mile Kids Run 5K Age Group Winners 5K Run/Walk (gender and age places will be added later; we are verifying some finishing times with participants after 190th place and will post a revised file). Schedule: 2:15 PM – Race Day Registration opens 3:00 PM – FREE ½ Mile Kids Run (12 & under) 3:30 PM – 5k Run/Walk Start 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM – Party and awards after the 5k Where: Hornung Student Center on the Marian University campus. Marian University is located on the east side of the city along National Avenue and Division Street. Registration and party will be in the Hornung Student Center. Parking is available either in the Stayer Center lot by entering from 2nd Street or Morningside Drive, or in the Regina lot by entering from Division Street. Course:
Flat, accurate courses, which start and finish near the Hornung Student Center. There is a new 5k course for 2012 which is entirely on the roads. Please be aware that the course could potentially be snow and/or ice covered.

Sweatshirt Deadline:
All participants who wish to receive a sweatshirt must register by December 20 (adult sizes only). All entries with a sweatshirt must be in our hands by 12-20. There will be no sweatshirt availability after this date.
Awards:
Overall award to the top male and female in both the 5k run and 5k walk. Chili bowls will be awarded to the top male and female (1 deep) in the following age groups for the 5k run: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Overall winners are excluded from the age groups. All kids in the 1/2 mile run will receive a participant award.
Entry fee:
Pre-registered by 12-20: $18 with long sleeve sweatshirt, $8 without sweatshirt. After 12-20 and on race day: $15 for all participants. The ½ mile kids run is free. Price includes lots of chili and food, beverages, awards and fun, fun, fun!
