Events: Free ½ mile run for kids 12 & under, and an open 5k run/walk, followed by a New Year’s Eve Party! A healthy and fun way to end one year and bring in the next.
Times: 2:45 PM – Registration opens
3:30 PM – FREE ½ Mile Kids Run (12 & under)
4:00 PM – 5k Run/Walk Start
3:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Party
Where: Hornung Student Center on the Marian University campus. Marian University is located on the east side of the city along National Avenue and Division Street. Registration and Party will be in the Hornung Student Center. Parking is available either in the main parking lot by entering from 2nd Street or Morningside Drive, or in the lot on Division Street.
Course: Flat, accurate courses, which start and finish near the Hornung Student Center. The 5k run/walk course will be mainly on roads with two sections of sidewalk for safety reasons.
Price: $15 with long sleeve sweatshirt, $7.00 without shirt. After 12-23: $18 with long sleeve sweatshirt, $10 without shirt. Price includes (option) long sleeve sweatshirt to first 50 registered, plus food, beverages, door prizes, and fun, fun, fun!
